Les Misérables is coming to Abu Dhabi – but it's actually bigger and better than ever

If you’ve been wanting to see the hit musical that is Les Misérables live, you’re in luck – the show is officially coming to Abu Dhabi.

After a teaser posted on the Etihad Arena Instagram page, the news was confirmed today, with tickets going on sale next week.

Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena will be one of the stops in the LES MISÉRABLES THE ARENA SPECTACULAR world tour, stopping off at the capital between 10 and 20 April 2025. Other stops include the UK, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands.

The arena show follows the success of Les Misérables The Staged Concert, which ran for over 200 record-breaking performances in London’s West End.

With iconic songs like I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, Bring Him Home, One Day More, the adaptation of Victor Hugo’s novel has become one of the world’s favourite musicals.

But this show is set to be even bigger, featuring a cast and orchestra of over 65 people and a brand-new design that has been crafted specifically for large venues, offering an immersive experience that amplifies the emotional and visual power of the show.

The Abu Dhabi performance will be a collaboration between Proactiv Entertainment, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi.

Nicolas Renna, chief executive officer at Proactiv Entertainment, said of the announcement: “The story and music of LES MISÉRABLES resonate deeply with audiences across the globe, and the Middle East is no exception. This larger-than-life production will transport every audience member—regardless of generation or background—on a heart-wrenching tale told through some of the most powerful songs ever created. We are truly honoured to bring this to Abu Dhabi.”

If you want to secure Les Mis tickets, make sure you register for pre-sale now, so you can buy tickets on Monday October 14. Otherwise general sale will be on October 17. Registrations are now open via etihadarena.ae and platinumlist.net.
