Do you hear that? Those are the laughs we’re all about to have at the second edition of Abu Dhabi Comedy Season.
Yep, get ready to laugh out loud at Etihad Arena as a huge line-up of heavyweight comedians land on Yas Island between April and July.
Organised by Live Nation Middle East and GME Events, and in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, this will be the event’s second edition after the inaugural season in 2024 drew in over 40,000 attendees.
This included a sold-out performance by Dave Chappelle, as well as collaborations between Bassem Youssef and Maz Jobrani, and performances by Andrew Schulz, Tom Segura, Aziz Ansari, Chris Tucker, Tommy Tiernan and Kevin Bridges.
So who’s coming in 2025? Here are the confirmed names so far.
Abu Dhabi Comedy Season 2025
Trevor Noah: April 26
After bringing his Off The Record tour to Abu Dhabi in February 2024 (a sold-out show btw), the former host of The Daily Show is coming back to the capital in April, kicking off proceedings.
Kevin Hart: May 2
This man needs no introduction. Emmy and Grammy-nominated, Kevin Hart has been part of some of Hollywood’s biggest comedy blockbusters. We suspect it will be hard to secure tickets for this one… Good luck!
Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesia: May 3
Celebrated as one of the world’s leading stand-up comedians and used to sold-out audiences worldwide, Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesia has amassed nearly a billion views on YouTube and over 25 million followers on social media.
Michael McIntyre: May 10
Comedy superstar Michael McIntyre is a huge comedy powerhouse. After all, he had a record-breaking 33 sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena and has captivated audiences worldwide through award-winning TV hits such as Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and The Wheel. Gad Elmaleh: May 30
Gad Elmaleh is a Moroccan-Canadian comedian and actor celebrated as one of the funniest people in France. He’s known for his standout roles in films like Midnight in Paris and his Netflix series Huge in France, and now he’s bringing his funny self to Etihad Arena.
Bill Burr: July 12
The mastermind behind the Monday Morning Podcast and a string of hit stand-up specials like Walk Your Way Out and the Grammy-nominated Paper Tiger, Bill Burr is known for his unapologetically sharp humour. You may also know him Breaking Bad as Patrick Kuby.
