The flagship airline also to increase flight frequencies to existing routes

Dubai's Emirates updates passenger flights to 40 destinations

Dubai’s Emirates Airline has announced scheduled passenger flights to a further ten destinations, updating its flight operations to 40 cities.

The added ten destinations include Colombo from June 20, Sialkot from June 24, Istanbul from June 25, Auckland, Beirut, Brussels, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from July 1, and Barcelona and Washington DC from July 15.

Along with this, Dubai’s flagship airline will also add more flights in July to London Heathrow, Manchester, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, Madrid, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, New York JFK, Toronto, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Emirates flights from Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Pakistan, will only carry outbound passengers to the UAE and onward destinations.

"Thanks to the UAE authorities' support and partnership, Emirates has been able to provide smooth and safe journeys for those who need to travel, and we look forward adding flights to more destinations in the coming weeks,” said Emirates' chief commercial officer Adnan Kazim.

“The UAE government's recent announcement to ease travel for UAE citizens and residents show the thorough approach that our country is taking with regards to resuming economic activities, and as we gradually return to regular services, Emirates' number one priority will always be the health and safety of our customers, our crew and our communities."

Flights will be available for bookings on or via travel agents.

As for transits, travellers flying between Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas, can connect safely and efficiently through Dubai.
