Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall launches new shopping delivery service

Residents in Abu Dhabi are self-isolating and staying home to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Shopping malls, cinemas, parks and beaches, as well as many public attractions are also currently closed temporarily.

All people are encouraged to stay home unless going outside for essentials like food and medicine and must remain home from 8pm to 6am each day for the National Disinfection Programme.

But, if you need a few things from the shops and aren’t able to make it out, one of the city’s most popular malls will deliver it to your home.

Akyasi allows you to use WhatsApp to send a picture and details of the product you want to purchase, confirm the order and send payment, all with real-time responses and customer support.

The service can be used to purchase items from Carrefour supermarket or a pharmacy and have it sent to your home within 48 hours.
