Abu Dhabi residents are doing their best to stay home as the UAE bids to stop the spread of COVID-19.

In communities across the emirate each night residents take time to applaud in support for all essential frontline workers helping to keep the UAE going during unprecedented times.

Joining in, Yas Island’s theme parks have lit up blue at night, like many other landmarks around the world.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, CLYMB Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi are those that are turning blue.

Abu Dhabi Government has also recently flown flags around the city reminding residents to stay at home.

Meanwhile, blood plasma treatments for coronavirus have been launched, travel to other emirates has been restricted for workers and drive-through test centres have been opened across the UAE.
