All Abu Dhabi schools to close on November 20 due to severe weather

Abu Dhabi Government has announced that all schools in the UAE capital will be closed on Wednesday November 20.

The decision was made to due to “unstable weather conditions” that are expected to fall overnight.

The closure affects all schools in Abu Dhabi and drivers have also been advised to take precautions when on the roads.

Rain and strong winds are anticipated as a strong weather front makes its way towards Abu Dhabi overnight.

The storm is expected to hit the UAE in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Students have been told to remain at home for their own safety and schools will reopen on Thursday November 21.
