It's not long until the lights dim and it's all eyes on the Octagon as Poirier and Khabib go toe to toe.

If you’re excited about the big fight and you’re counting down to September 7, then Yas Mall is the place to be in the build up to the main event.

Six fighters taking part in UFC 242 will be participating in open training at the mall offering fans the opportunity to see the stars in full flow preparing for their fight on September 4.

Among them are the two fighters from the main event, Dustin Poirier and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Taking part in 20 minute sessions, the six athletes will be on show for fans with a trainer as they make final preparations.

In addition, a number of workshops and fitness challenges will be held across the week to encourage the community to take an interest in fitness.

Dustin Poirier will go through the routine with his open workout at 4.40pm.

Khabib Nurmagomedov will then go through the paces at his open workout at 5.40pm.

The event is free and open to the public and offers unrivalled access to world class athletes in peak condition.
