Donate your unwanted goods to charity and recycle at an event in Abu Dhabi next week

ADNEC’s Environmental Awareness week is coming up in Abu Dhabi.

This means that from July 31 until August 4, you can donate clothes, books, toys and household items to families and children through the Emirates Red Crescent charity.

All you need to do is have a clear out and bring your haul to the one of the various collection points at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), which will be found in the grandstand, Car Park B and also at the VIP Car Park Gates 4 and 6 at Al Ain Convention Centre.

The Stop and Donate campaign is also offering recycling points where you can drop off paper and bigger items like furniture, carpets, textiles and household appliances.

Donations will be accepted between 8am and 6pm, and it sounds like a cause that’s well worth supporting.
8am-6pm, Jul 31-Aug 3. Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, www.adnec.ae.
