New video calling service launches in the UAE

Longing to make video calls home to friends and family?

The good news is a new service has launched allowing residents in the UAE to make video calls to people around the world.

YzerChat is new voice and video calling app from du. As reported in our sister title Arabian Business, monthly subscribers to the Internet Calling Pack will be able to make unlimited video and voice calls through the app, which also includes a messaging service.

Subscriptions cost Dhs100 for home customers and Dhs50 for mobile customers.

The telecoms firms say YzerChat features a language translation system that can automatically translate chats into one of 16 in-built languages, including Arabic, French and Chinese.

“At du, we are constantly pioneering new ways to integrate cutting-edge technological capabilities into our customers’ lives," said Fahad Al Hassawi Deputy CEO – Telco Services, EITC.

“By empowering their every day with innovative additions to our Internet Calling Pack, such as the YzerChat app, we are thrilled to be enriching their connected experience and empowering them to enjoy seamless, hassle-free lifestyles.”
