Amazon Prime has officially launched in Abu Dhabi

Amazon.ae has now officially launched Amazon Prime in the UAE.

The paid subscription service allows shoppers in Abu Dhabi benefits including free next day delivery, discounts and access to the brand's streaming service.

Customers can sign up for a free 30-day trial of Prime to sample faster delivery speeds and stream online content.

After the first month Amazon prime will cost Dhs12 per month until the end of October when subscriptions will increase to Dhs16 per month or Dhs140 per year.

The free next-day delivery has no minimum purchase amount so shoppers can order any item from the site and enjoy speedy delivery.
Members will also be able to get free delivery in six to nine business days on a range of Prime products being shipped from the US.

Prime members will also get free delivery in six to nine business days for international orders over Dh100 on five million Prime-eligible products shipped from Amazon US.

A 50 percent discount on same-day delivery will also be available for customers ordering items to be delivered to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ajman.

Prime members will also be able to stream Twitch Prime, the live-steaming gaming platform, and watch films and TV shows including Preacher, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Grand Tour.

Exciting times.
