Healthcare in Abu Dhabi has just got a major upgrade

Let’s be honest, most of us could all do a better job looking after our health.

Now in Abu Dhabi, public health has been given an upgrade and general health across the capital could soon improve.

A new entity has been established in Abu Dhabi with the aim of improving public health and helping share information with the community.

The Abu Dhabi Public Heath Centre (ADPHC) has been given legal status to preserve the health of residents in the capital, ensure the safety of workers and promote the principles of public and preventative health.

ADPHC’s has a range of responsibilities including collecting evidence and data related to serious workplace injuries and accidents, to determine causes and reduce risks.

The organisation will also be responsible for registering service providers and specialists in the fields of public health.

Awareness campaigns and educational programmes will also be created and launched by ADPHC to share messages on general health, disease prevention and rehabilitation

ADHPC will also be responsible for providing vaccinations and publicising immunisation programmes in capital.

Sounds like a good move to us.
