You can now register for tickets to see Pope Francis in Abu Dhabi

If you want to see Pope Francis when he comes to Abu Dhabi next month, you can now register for tickets.

The Argentinian will is holding a public mass at Zayed Sports City and there will be 120,000 tickets available to be part of it.

It’s expected ever more people will want to get a glimpse of the Pope anyone who is interested should register soon.

His appearance in the UAE is part of the Year of Tolerance proceedings.

The mass will be held at 10.30am on Tuesday February 5.

Anyone who wants to go along should register their interest in attending with their local parish.

The majority of tickets will be issued to the UAE, Oman and Yemen, with the rest given to other countries in the GCC.

During his visit to the UAE, Pope Francis will also visit Abu Dhabi’s cultural landmarks such as the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Founder's Memorial.

The event will be live-streamed in churches across the UAE and will be beamed to the official papal visit website and the Vatican YouTube channel.
