New Dhs2 billion project launched in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi developer Aldar Properties has announced a new Dhs2 billion development called Alreeman.

Work on the project, in Alshamka near Masdar City, will start this year, with properties due to be handed over in 2021.

The new area will be a mix of residential properties and commercial plots spread over an area of 2.8 million sq m.

There will be single and multi-residential villas and apartments, shops, places to eat and mosques as well as sports and education facilities.

Sales from the plots will start on January 19, with prices starting at Dhs690,000 for villa plots and Dhs4.69 million for commercial plots.

Alreeman will also have a network of gardens, parks and open spaces with cycle tracks.

Anyone who buys a plot will be able to design the building according to their exact specifications within the approved GFA limits, say Aldar.

Talal Al Dhiyebi, CEO, says: “The launch of Alreeman builds on Aldar’s successful development strategy and further expands our focus in to new areas of Abu Dhabi. Catering to the mid-income segment, this development responds to market demand to live in a desirable community with a wide range of facilities while also appealing to investors looking to construct apartment buildings or villas to generate recurring income.”
