Batman fans can help set a Guinness World Record in Abu Dhabi

Birthdays are great aren’t they?

While we might try to ignore the number with every year that passes, who doesn’t like spending time with you nearest and dearest and enjoying a big sluice of cake?

Batman, everyone’s favourite nocturnal superhero is celebrating his 80th birthday this year, and we think he looks great for his age.

To celebrate eight decades of stopping criminals and villains in Gotham City, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is inviting Bat-fans in the capital to gather and help set a Guinness World Record.

On Saturday September 21, the caped crusader will be at the theme park, hoping to try and set the world record for the largest gathering of people wearing capes.

So if you’re a cosplayer, can get your Batman, Batwoman or Robin costume ready and head to Yas Island.

However, even if you just have a bedsheet tied around your neck it will still count.

On the day, Dark Knight fans can enjoy live entertainment, interactive attractions and meet and greets throughout the day.

Then there’s the small matter of 29 rides and attractions inside the indoor theme park.

We’re already working on our costume.
