Aloft Al Ain opens

Swanky new boutique hotel opens in the Garden City

All is rosy in the garden of Al Ain thanks to the launch of a brand-new hotel. The newly opened Aloft Al Ain, owned by Abu Dhabi-based developer Al Qattara Investments, is one of the cornerstones of the Garden City’s ambitious 500,000 square-metre Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium development, which also boasts a 25,000-seater stadium, more than 600 residential units, commercial buildings and a buzzing culinary hub of diverse restaurants and cafés.

The plush new hotel, which is part of the Marriott hotel chain, is Aloft’s first opening in Al Ain and its second in the UAE. It’s part of a major expansion drive that will see the group open ten new hotels in the Middle East over the next five years. “We at Aloft Al Ain are excited to bring not only a new venture, but a new experience to the beautiful city of Al Ain,” says Andreas Plum, Aloft Al Ain’s general manager.

The state-of-the-art hotel features 175 loft-like guest rooms and suites, all equipped with SPG Keyless – the industry’s first mobile check-in system where guests can use their own phones as room keys – a wide range of bars and restaurants, a fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool. Looks like we’ll be taking another road trip to the Garden City, then.
