Abu Dhabi hotels receive new safety certificate

Abu Dhabi’s hotels and hotel beaches have gradually been reopening after being closed to stop the spread of COVID-19.

To confirm the hotels have reached certain safety levels, The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) announced a new certification initiative.

Now, 146 of Abu Dhabi’s hotels and some of Abu Dhabi’s most popular attractions including Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Hosn and Emirates Palace have received the Go Safe certification.

Measures required to achieve the certification include social distancing courses, checkpoints for temperature checks, regular disinfection and COVID-19 testing for all employees.

DCT Abu Dhabi has also announced the launch of the Rediscover Abu Dhabi campaign, offering range of offers for residents at locations across Abu Dhabi throughout the summer.

Deals include all-inclusive staycation packages including offers for attractions including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
