Eat at the city's best restaurants as part of Tastes of the Capital
We've launched a great initiative to give you the chance to eat the Abu Dhabi's best restaurants for less. There are more than 50 restaurants taking part in Tastes of the Capital powered by Time Out Abu Dhabi, with set menus available for either Dhs99, Dhs199 or Dhs299. think of award winners such as La Petite Maison, COYA, Catch, Tamba and Hakkasan. You can also make a night of it by booking a staycation deal with dinner thrown in. You can check out all the deals at our dedicated section here.

Party at the newest club in town
Heading out this weekend? Onyx Club at Novotel Al Bustan is the newest nightlife spot in the capital and this weekend they're inviting everyone to come along and see what it's all about. On Thursday night DJ Nuff Said will be behind the decks for an evening of great music.

Become a master chef
Learn a new recipe and impress your friends and family by signing up for a cooking class at Jones the Grocer. This week you can learn to make herb and fennel crusted lamb rack with tomato sauce and saffron potatoes. Plus not only do you get to eat your creation at the end of the class you can enjoy a welcome drink and a dessert on arrival, too.

Can't keep your eyes off the cricket? With the semi-final on the horizon between Australia and England things are really heating up. Party at PJs
To celebrate winning Pub of the Year at the Time Out Abu Dhabi Music and Nighltife Awards, popular Irish pub PJ O’Reilly’s is throwing a party and the good news is everyone is invited. Taking place on Thursday July 11, guests are invited to come along to the popular hangout and enjoy free selected drinks from 7pm to 10pm. You can also expect a live band, DJ, games and entertainment throughout the evening.

Go mad for mangoes
It’s mango season, don’t you know? You didn’t? Okay - it’s mango season. Now you know. Celebrating and showcasing the exotic fruit, food truck Salt is hosting a pop-up on Saadiayt Island to share the taste of mango ice cream with people in the capital. So if mango is your thing, or you just need an excuse to get some more ice cream in your life then you can check out the stall until then end of July between 3pm and midnight.

Neon Nights at Yas Waterworld
Yas Waterworld will be lighting up the sky on Yas Island with the returning Neon Nights. As well as the chance the ride all 40 of the rides and attractions in the dark, guests can also see a live hydrojet action show, party at a silent disco and also ride in brightly coloured rings on the UAE’s only neon river.

If photography is your thing then you need to see this. ABOVE: Aerial Photography Exhibition is now open and it features images of the UAE, the Middle East and the USA, all taken from drones and aircraft. From horse riders, to shots of the Dubai skyline, the collection showcases a huge range of amazing images showcasing the UAE as you’ve never seen it before.

Get two for one movie tickets
Fancy a film? Well, you can now get more for your money in Abu Dhabi cinemas. All day, every day until the end of summer moviegoers can get two-for-one cinema tickets at Novo Cinemas to see any film of their choice. Treat your friend to a free ticket and they can buy the popcorn. That seems like a good deal to us and with Toy Story 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home in theatres, it's a good time to catch a flick!
