Get a first look at new Abu Dhabi-produced film this weekend

Trailer for UAE comedy will hit theatres tomorrow

A sneak preview of a new comedy made right here in Abu Dhabi is hitting capital theatres this Eid weekend.

Sheyab Sheyab (formerly known as On Borrowed Time) has been produced by leading Middle East media and entertainment company Image Nation Abu Dhabi and is set to be released next year.

But film lovers can get a first look at the movie from tomorrow, when a theatrical teaser is screened at cinemas throughout the UAE.

The film follows the story of four elderly men in a Dubai nursing home who are gradually losing their zest for life before an unexpected event changes everything.

The feel-good film stars renowned Kuwaiti actor Saad Al Faraj, Syrian star Salloum Hadad and Emirati actors Marie Al Halyan and Mansoor Al Feeli, who is also an Executive Producer on the film.

The comedy is written and directed by filmmaker and music video pioneer Yasir Al Yasiri and produced by Rami Yasin, with Emirati director Majid Al Ansari (Zinzana) serving as an Executive Producer.

The film will be co-produced and released by Tanweer, an international leader in the production and distribution of theatrical content.
