Abu Dhabi's baby and kids flea market is back

New event also added in Al Ain

Abu Dhabi's baby and kids flea market is back

We love a good flea market. Not only is it a good opportunity to clear out your clutter and get some money for it, you’ll also be able to pick up someone else’s unloved treasures at a bargain price – and after all, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

The Abu Dhabi Baby & Kids Flea Market has been happening every two months in the capital since November 2017 and such is its success that the first Al Ain Baby & Kids Flea Market will be launched ion Saturday February 9.

The market will take place at the ballroom of the Hilton Al Ain Hotel between 1pm and 6pm and then will continue on a regular basis.

Entry for visitors is free and if you fancy putting on your market trader hat it will cost you Dhs200 for a stall.

As well as having a good declutter (or a re-clutter), the event is a chance to meet other parents and make a day of it, while doing your part for the environment by reusing toys and games.

You’ll also be able to pick up pre-loved clothes books, strollers, equipment, sports gear, shoes and more at the event, where you can make a steal on baby stuff that would normally cost a small fortune.

“Being a mum of three year old toddler twins, I realise how fast they outgrow their clothes, shoes, toys and equipment and I am wondering what to do with it,” says Martina Venus, the flea market organiser.

“It would be great if the flea market became a fixed event in every mum’s diary, so we all benefit from the platform it provides.”
Sounds better than traipsing round the mall…
