We love treating ourselves to a night of live music, and when the live music is in aid of charity, it’s even better.

Spanish concert pianist Pablo Amorós is performing at Emirates Palace on Friday April 12, in a concert entitled From Spain With Love.

All proceeds will go towards the Make-a-Wish Foundation UAE, a charity which gives children with critical illnesses the chance to live out their greatest wish.

Sponsored by Royal Arrow and supported by the Embassy of Spain in Abu Dhabi, it will feature popular Spanish and European classical piano pieces from Robert Schumann, Enrique Granados, Frédéric Chopin, Manuel de Falla and Isaac Albéniz.

Amorós is known for his passionate and elegant performances and charismatic nature, and we’re sure that every person in the audience will fall for his charm when he comes to the capital later this month.

He said: “I am absolutely fascinated by the opportunity to play in the United Arab Emirates and in particular at Emirates Palace where some great artists have already performed. I'm also looking forward to enjoying the city for a few days too, its people, its food and visiting Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Al Manarat museums.”

Tickets start from Dhs175 for balcony seating, Dhs195 for silver, Dhs295 for gold and Dhs395 for platinum. You can order yours now from
