N2N Gallery

An exclusive exhibition opens at N2N Gallery, paying tribute to nature

Natalya Muzaleva and Natalia Petrukha, two Ukrainian citizens, opened N2N Gallery back in 2013 and, since then, the gallery has showcased the works of a number of incredible artists from all across Eastern Europe, mainly Ukraine, Hungary and Poland. And the latest exhibition at the gallery is no different, as Rebirth demonstrates the talents of Petro Bevza and Oleksiy Lytvynenko, two prominent, contemporary Ukrainian artists.

Bevza is considered among the top five modern artists from his home country and has had the opportunity to sell works across Europe and the USA. The paintings you’ll see in this Abu Dhabi exhibit are from a series titled Fountains, which focuses on the movable nature of water and how it is an irresistible force and also a symbol of longevity.

Meanwhile, Lytvynenko, who tends to reproduce in his works the harmony of existence, unveils his new collection, Buds, a comment on the cyclical processes occuring in nature and how spring rebirths plants.

While it is the pair’s first foray into the N2N Gallery, this exhibition is not an Abu Dhabi debut for either artist. In fact, the duo was here just last year for Abu Dhabi Art 2016. On display at the fair was their project Spaces of Gravity. The Grass, an installation that featured giant blades of grass made of galvanised iron, designed to examine the relationship of man, nature and the environment.

This time the pair will explore the miracles in everyday life through the most beautiful and dramatic forces in nature. It’s powerful stuff.
