Abu Dhabi is a great place for art lovers, and things are about to get even better.

A new exhibition is opening at Alliance Francais Abu Dhabi tomorrow (September 9), and we can’t wait to check it out.

Entitled France eMotion – The Animated Journey, the collection is a joint project between Atout France and the Institut Français.

Celebrating the many impressive cultural sites of France, new technologies and the art of photography, the 35 original pieces are beautifully put together.

It will have you dreaming of taking a trip to Paris, the French Alps, or anywhere in this fascinating European country where you can enjoy a freshly baked croissant.

Four international photographers captured 35 different parts of France in the summer of 2017, and these pieces have brought to life in this collection by the inclusion of an animated character creature by French artists Julie Chheng and Thomas Pons.

The mix of photography and digital animation is really quite special, and as well as the UAE, the exhibition will also be displayed in France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil, the USA, and Benin.

You can go and check out this wonderful display from tomorrow (September 9) at 7pm until October 15.

Make sure you don’t miss it.
Free. Until Oct 15. Alliance Francais Abu Dhabi, Al Bateen (02 612 2900).
