An arty charcoal master class is coming to Abu Dhabi

We’ll never ever get tired of trying out all the many restaurants in Abu Dhabi, but sometimes it’s nice to do something different on an evening isn’t it?

Well rooftop bar Hytes at the Southern Sun Abu Dhabi seems to have had a similar thought, and the cool venue has decided to host a charcoal drawing master class.

Held on Tuesday 18 June from 5pm to 8pm, the class will be led by talented charcoal artist Miriam Innes.

Entitled Tones & Techniques, the three-hour session will teach participants how to draw a beautiful mosque using charcoal and gold leaf.

The finished result is then framed and given to each guest to take home with them.

With amazing views over the Abu Dhabi skyline, the class also includes tasty bites to eat from the Hytes food menu and soft drinks, too.

After all, you can’t be creative on an empty stomach can you?

The class costs Dhs350 per person and you’ll come away having learnt all the key skills you need to be a proper charcoal artist.

It might just be a talent you never knew you had.

Dhs350. Tue Jun 18, 5pm-8pm. Southern Sun Abu Dhabi, Al Zahiyah (02 818 4888).
