Abu Dhabi's Cultural Foundation introduces new events for April

If you’re feeling creative then there’s plenty of opportunities to express yourself at the Cultural Foundation this month.

Located at the historical Qasr al Hosn fort, that recently re-opened to the public after restoration, the Cultural Foundation has been fostering creative talent in Abu Dhabi since its launch in 1981.

Inspiring youngsters to take an interest in the arts and give creative talent a platform to showcase their ability, the foundation is a meeting place for experienced and aspiring artists to meet and create.

The new public programme for April includes weekend workshops, artist-guided tours, live painting, masterclasses and live music.

Every weekend visitors can take part in workshops including scrapbooking, decoupage, ceramics and more held in partnership with arts and crafts studios from across the city.

Weekly artist-led workshops will also teach calligraphy, sketching and traditional art.

Also on the programme, Paints and Beats will bring music and live painting together for a unique creative experience.

Visitors can also look forward to the impressive children’s library and the inaugural exhibition The Early Years that runs until June 8.

Free. Various times. Qasr Al Hosn, www.culturalfoundation.ae.
