The Mother of The Nation Festival will be a feast for foodies as an awesome line-up of culinary delights are announced.
Back for its third year, the popular outdoor celebration honours Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak with a bumper schedule of family fun events and activities.
Today, organisers revealed a string of foodie treats in its Beach Dining Zone, from high-class restaurants to delicious street food trucks.
It saw around 200,000 visitors flock to the Corniche last year and organisers hope this year will be bigger and better than before.
The festival will be held from March 22 to March 31 over a kilometre of Abu Dhabi’s Corniche beach, utilising Miral’s new 600-metre beachfront leisure development A’l Bahar, which will be opened to the public for the first time.
More than 60 dining options will be on offer, ranging from fast food to gluten-free options, with a host of local and international flavour.
Fast food lovers have an array of options including Fringes, Swag and Bite.
Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy outlets such as The Inventory Room, Crepeaholic Ice Cream Lab and many more.
Healthy eaters can also choose from a wide variety of options including Eaters, Poke Poke and Marl’s Organic Kitchen.
A variety of food and beverage containers along the shoreline will provide a range of dining options from food trucks, kiosks and restaurants.
And there will be a series of cooking demonstrations from eight renowned Abu Dhabi chefs from Vasco's, Roberto's Show Case - Fettuticni El Pesto, Catch, Le Beaujolais, Villa Tuscana, Almaz, Jazz Bar, and Larte in a series of Chef Challenges.
Two chefs will compete against one another and create inspiring dishes using a secret ingredient.
The final dishes are then judged by the audience through an interactive vote before the audience gets to taste the creations and choose the winner.
