UAE breast cancer charity launches new headscarf

Charity campaign The Pink Brigade has added a line of pink headscarves to its existing range of kitchenwear.

Launched in 2014 by chef Robbie Stokes, who lost his wife to breast cancer, the foundation aims to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of the disease.

Over the years, The Pink Brigade has raised nearly Dhs200,000, through various initiatives.

The proceeds raised from its latest campaign will be donated to The Pink Caravan, a pan-emirates Breast Cancer Awareness initiative that was launched in 2011.

You can do your bit to support the cause by purchasing one of its personalised chef jackets, pink aprons, or the latest accessory – pink head scarves.

Visit www.nourish.ae/the-pink-brigade to add to your kitchen wardrobe before September 10.

Dhs50 (headscarf and apron), Dhs100 (chef jacket).
