Easter brunch and afternoon tea announced at Abu Dhabi resort

Easter is one of the most kiddie-friendly holidays here in Abu Dhabi, and The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort will be celebrating with a treat-filled brunch and afternoon tea.

The hotel’s Olea restaurant will be hosting a special edition of its Epicurean Brunch on Easter Sunday, with traditional dishes on the menu such as rabbit galantine with grilled pears, loaded deviled eggs with turkey bacon and Scotch eggs with tomato relish as appetisers. For mains, Olea will be serving up a selection of signature dishes including braised lamb shank, roasted butternut pumpkin with goat cheese, cottage pie, roasted turkey breast and lamb leg.

Then, of course, there’s dessert. There will be plenty on offer including coconut cream pie and orange creamsicle fudge. Plus, a doughnut wall so you can pick and choose what you want, a chocolate fountain and the customary cookies, brownies and cupcakes. Little ones will stay entertained with a variety of fun activities including egg hunting and face painting, while Zero Funk band will be playing some tunes so Mums and Dads can relax.

The resort will also be hosting a themed afternoon tea and, being one of The St. Regis’ timeless traditions, you can expect nothing less than a gathering to remember. The Easter Afternoon Tea, available from April 21 until 23, will be filled with Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies. You can also munch on a variety of sandwiches, cakes, baked scones and pastries with tea, coffee and juices.

We’re ready to hunt some eggs. Bring it on.
