Free Vita Coco coconut water - if you have this name

All you need to do is show your ID to get a free delivery

If your name's Mike or Ira and you like coconut water, you're in luck.

That's because Vita Coco is giving away free bottles of the stuff to honour its two founders - just in time for your pre-summer health kick.

In 2003, childhood friends Mike Kirban and Ira Liran randomly met two women from Brazil and got chatting about ‘agua de coco’.

Fascinated by the bizarre drink and spotting a potential trend, the pair hopped on a plane to Brazil and brought it to the US market.

Now more than a decade later it has taken off with celebrities like Madonna and Rihanna regularly spotted sipping on the beverage.

In honour of the founders, Vita Coco Middle East is giving away free hydration packs to Mikes and Iras.

All you need to do is email a copy of your ID to and they'll be in touch to arrange delivery of your bundle of coconut water.

The campaign will run from March 1 to March 31 and ID will be required upon receiving the delivery.
