One of the top live music venues (and a repeated award-winner from Time Out Abu Dhabi), is gearing up for the launch of a brand-new live music night that’s going to get the city pumping every single week.

Not content with being the Best Outdoor Nightspot (according to the Time Out Abu Dhabi Music & Nightlife Awards 2018), as well as one of the top spots for live music and an all-round contender for Bar of the Year on a regular basis, Iris Yas Island is doubling down on its weekend offers by introducing a live jazz/funk/soul night.

Every week you can catch Nuvo Soul, a supremely funky four-piece act led by singer Carrie Gibson. Gibson and her band were nominated in 2018 for a Time Out Dubai Music & Nightlife award, as one of the best bands in our neighbouring emirate, so you know you’re in for one of the top live acts around.

The band will kick on at 9pm and run throughout the evening, and both ladies and gents will get a free drink before 11pm, but there’s also a night brunch offer to really make the most of your Thursday night.

Three house of unlimited drinks alongside sharing starters and bar bites are available with prices starting from Dhs200 for grape and hops. For house beverages it’s Dhs245 and for bubbly it’s Dhs430.

That’s a corking deal, and we’re looking forward to checking out this funky new night.
From Dhs200. Thu 9pm-3am. Yas Marina, Yas Island (055 160 5636).
