Free entry for pregnant ladies at Abu Dhabi comedy gig

Laughter Factory marking International Women’s Day with great offer

Abu Dhabi’s biggest comedy night is bumping up support for International Women’s Day – by inviting pregnant ladies to enjoy the show free of charge.

The Laughter Factory will be back at the Park Rotana Abu Dhabi on March 7 and we are expecting a very special show.

This is no joke, either, as research has proven that a child’s personality can be shaped by the health and mood of the mother, with laughter flooding the body with happy chemicals that can be detected for up to 24 hours.

So the Laughter Factory’s big return to the capital looks set to be the mother of all shows.

A belly-laughing line-up of comic talents have been brought together, with the pressure on to make an army of mums-to-be laugh themselves silly.

Even if you aren’t pregnant (or are, in fact, a man) you can still come along and join in the fun.

The prices won’t even be bumped up for the occasion (see what we did there).

Irish comedian Eleanor Tiernan will ensure there are no pregnant pauses in between the hilarity.

The gifted joke maker has featured on stand-up icon Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience on Comedy Central and has also played sets at Latitude, Glastonbury, Montreal Just For Laughs, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and all of the top Irish comedy festivals and is a regular on TV shows in her homeland.

She will be joined on the night by London comedian Marlon Davis, who was won a firm following thanks to performances on Live At the Apollo and on Comedy Central.

The happy-go-lucky comic brings an infectious energy and charm to his skilful observations and is a joy to watch for comedy lovers, particularly in a live setting, where audiences can soak up his positivity and warm vibes.

The terrific trio will be capped off by Michael Fabbri, who is beloved so much by stand-up star Micky Flanagan that he took him on tour with him.

You can expect plenty of laughs per minute from Michael, who has audiences rolling in the aisles wherever he has taken to the mic.

If you want a great night, mum’s the word.
