Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in two T20 matches at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium on October 26 and 27, before the teams travel to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore for the final game.

The two teams have spent the last month battling it out across the UAE in both test matches and one-day international games. While Sri Lanka reigned supreme in the longer format of the game with a convincing 2-0 victory, Pakistan steamrolled their opponents to clinch the ODIs 5-0.

Needless to say, both teams have a lot riding on these last few encounters.

While Twenty20, or T20, is the shortest version of the game, there is certainly no shortage of entertainment. And while the action on the field is sure to keep spectators entertained, there will be plenty to cheer about off it as well.

Pakistani pop sensation Raheem Shah will take to stage on both nights to perform some of his latest hits including Tap Tap, Channa and Ghum. An MC and DJ will also appear, and we hear there will be some fireworks, too.

For the fans who sent in a selfie with their T20 ticket (you know who you are), well, the winner of the Abu Dhabi Cricket selfie competition will be announced over the action-packed weekend. The lucky person will receive a batting masterclass from Pakistani legend and former captain Younis Khan.

It’s going to be a ball.

Starting from Dhs25. Oct 26 and 27, gates open 5pm, concert 7pm, match 8pm. Zayed Cricket Stadium, www.q-tickets.com.
