Although you can’t fault the friendly atmosphere and relaxed, welcoming environment, we do have an issue with the amount of smoke in this bar. The cloud of smog stings your eyes as you enter the door and from a quick glance around it looks as though absolutely everyone is puffing away. But if you can bear it, the pies are terrific and there are plenty of burgers, sandwiches and other light bites on the menu at reasonable, if not cheap, prices. 3rd Avenue is a welcoming and sociable place and the staff are quick and efficient at turning around orders. Essentially, it’s a chatty and busy pub, which, aside from the smoke, is a pleasant place to visit if you fancy bar food and an old-fashioned vibe.

This pub is very popular with locals and is always busy. The food and drink selection is very good and the prices are reasonable too. There is a good variation of seating with views of the TV's for sport. But the smoky atmosphere is terrible and I stopped visiting this pub because of the smoke.

You're not fussy!! Don't forget the stench of cigarette smoke that hits you in the face even before you walk in. The service is horrible, and only thing we've realy found edible were there fries, that's not saying much!
I say I'd go back only cause we sometimes get together there for a couple of drinks as it's near where we live.
