Blink and you’ll miss Chhappan Bhog, an unassuming Indian restaurant wedged into the crowded streets of Al Zahiyah. If you do happen to spot it, however, and you’re feeling adventurous, then pop your head around the door and see what the kitchen is serving that day. There is a menu, but only a few dishes are available at any one time. Half the restaurant is taken up by an Indian bakery serving breads and samosas, which are the highlights here. Vegetarian thali is usually the order of the day, and the dishes are tasty. But as you aren’t told what they are, this a restaurant for the seriously initiated or adventurous only.

We ordered food home delivery and it took them more than one hour to deliver basic food. the person talking over the phone was highly unprofessional and didnt know how to talk.
He started shouting back at us for calling him twice in one hour time and asking about the home delivery
there is a serious lack of customer focus and attitude in this place'i would highly not recommend this place to any of viewers

A very basic but pleasant dining experience. If you want good authentic Indian vegetarian food but are not interested in paying for the decor and the waiters outfits, then this is the place for you. I enjoy fine dining but I also enjoy eating as Indians do back home. Quite a small seating plan so you may have to wait to be seated on a busy day. Food came very quickly so not an issue for me. Its eat and out. If you want a nice quiet evening with ambience and atmosphere to enjoy with your friends, this is not the place for you.

If you want to experience the vegetarian taste of india and the urgency that comes with cheap wholeosome food, then give it a try,

The south indian masala "dosas" were very tasty. The sambar(lentil soup) they are served with was really tasty. I recommend the entire dosa selection since my family and I worked our way through most of it. They also do "thalis" which is an entire meal on a plate. I saw many people tucking into them while I was there but I did not try since the dosas were so good.

A very good Indian Veg restaurant with quick fire service... similar to what you would expect in India. Food was great, service excellent and value for money. Recommend you go there early as most of the good stuff runs out quickly.
