From Time Out Abu Dhabi Eating Out 2010

Al Raha Beach Hotel is hardly in a convenient location, which is a shame because this is one of the more impressive hotels in the capital and Sevilla is typical of what it has to offer. As with many a lobby restaurant, it takes full advantage of the high ceiling and golden-pillared glamour. The international buffet is one of the more accomplished in the city, too, the sushi on Asian night in particular is rather good, but it is still a buffet and you’re unlikely to travel such a distance unless you’re either staying in the hotel or live nearby.

The chances of finding a taxi once you’re finished eating is also a big negative point. Wise Al Raha goers know to judge how long you’ll be and get the hotel to order you a cab just as you sit down. Naturally custom suffers because of the obscure location, which is a shame because the surroundings are pretty impressive. As with many of these places, the Friday brunch is the best time to really soak up the atmosphere, although it does tend to be more sedate and family friendly than most. But if you’re in the mood for an accomplished bit of everything then it’s worth checking out.

I fully agree with this review. I really regret that I have not visited that place before. It has one of the freshest salad bars I have seen in a while and it is a step ahead of other 5 stars hotels. I felt truly relaxed at this hotel due to the fact that it is not super crowded. We spent a great evening and the service was great. A lady plays Harp in the lobby between 6 and 9:30 PM and it is truly relaxing. This is a gem outside the city and I am definitely going back again.
