From Time Out Abu Dhabi Eating Out 2010

Given the name, you won’t be surprised to learn that the Noodle House’s speciality resides in delicious bowls of steaming broth draped in silken noodles that wouldn’t look out of place on a Bangkok high street. But instead of smog, raw chicken carcasses and yelling cab drivers, you’re confronted with long communal tables flanked by benches and serene private booths. In short, it’s taken all of the good about Thai fast food and left the rest behind. The menu is of the tick-and-tear-off variety, with the choice divided between Thai and more common Chinese dishes. Offerings like the appetising crystal shrimp dumplings and the odd unusual drink (banana latte anyone?) join Thai staples like the sumptuous pad Thai and the heavenly prawn and duck wonton soup. The service can be a little harried, but with two outlets now in the capital, business is clearly booming. A great choice for shoppers on the go.

Asian food? Yes. Good Asian food, no. I am saying no because this restaurant believes that the more Soy and other sauces you add to the food, the better it will taste. Try the Chicken Satay for example and you will get chicken on skewers covered in so much sauce you will dig deep to find the chicken. Mains are the same way, too much sauce that destroys any authentic flavor. I like the decor and atmosphere and do order the Jasmin Green Tea if you like tea, it is certainly better tasting than anything you get at coffee shops, for 5 AED.

Been here twice and enjoyed every moment.

Location is a bit far from the city but the view from the balcony is fantastic.

Try the bubble tea with a wide choice of fruit flavors. The bazooka like broad straws and the Tapioca pearls in the drink are something to try out.
