Noodle House
Thai noodle restaurant with seven branches in the UAE 4 Reviews
From Time Out Abu Dhabi Eating Out 2010
Given the name, you won’t be surprised to learn that the Noodle House’s speciality resides in delicious bowls of steaming broth draped in silken noodles that wouldn’t look out of place on a Bangkok high street. But instead of smog, raw chicken carcasses and yelling cab drivers, you’re confronted with long communal tables flanked by benches and serene private booths. In short, it’s taken all of the good about Thai fast food and left the rest behind. The menu is of the tick-and-tear-off variety, with the choice divided between Thai and more common Chinese dishes. Offerings like the appetising crystal shrimp dumplings and the odd unusual drink (banana latte anyone?) join Thai staples like the sumptuous pad Thai and the heavenly prawn and duck wonton soup. The service can be a little harried, but with two outlets now in the capital, business is clearly booming. A great choice for shoppers on the go.
