Ramadan offer at Emirates Palace

The venue: For the second year running, Emirates Palace is hosting iftar and suhoor in the palatial Ramadan pavilion. The custom-built venue overlooks the beach on one side and the stunning facade of the hotel on the other. The light and airy interior features cosy enclaves, four private majlis areas, a large dining space for the iftar buffet and a separate lounge area.

Iftar: Signature dishes from Mezlai, Emirates Palace’s famous Emirati restaurant, and traditional delicacies from the Holy Month are available from a sprawling iftar buffet every night. There is also a wide selection of desserts as well as live cooking and carving stations.

Suhoor: Expect special set menus as well as a range of traditional à la carte dishes.

Extras: A selection of shisha is available.

Prices: Iftar buffet Dhs265++ per person. Suhoor subject to a minimum spend of Dhs150++ (can include shisha).

Timings: Sunset-9pm (iftar), 9.30pm-1.30am (suhoor).

Ramadan offer at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers

The venue: Iftar is being offered at both international restaurant Rosewater and the Layali Al Baraka venue. Guests can also avail the special Ramadan at the Towers package, which includes an overnight stay at the five-star luxury city hotel with stunning Corniche and coastal views.

Iftar: Located on Podium Level 2, Rosewater is offering guests authentic Arabian traditions and classic dishes after sunset. Dine on sumptuous grills, freshly prepared oceanic fare and refreshing Ramadan drinks. Meanwhile, the lavishly decorated Layali Al Baraka venue is offering an exquisite buffet of regional delights alongside live cooking stations. There are sumptuous seafood grills, a live saj station and customary Ramadan beverages as well as Arabic coffee served in a traditional dallah.

Suhoor: Served in-room for hotel guests only.

Extras: A traditional oud player sets a soothing ambiance during iftar at Layali Al Baraka. Jumeirah at Etihad Towers is also running its Ramadan at the Towers package – book a stay at the hotel during the Holy Month to enjoy this offer, which includes iftar, suhoor and transportation to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Guests can choose from a stay in a Deluxe Room, Grand Deluxe Room or Club Suite. Iftar can be enjoyed at Layali Al Baraka while suhoor will be served in-room. Transportation to and from Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at Taraweeh prayer time can be booked once during the stay. Transfer to and from the nearest mosque for Taraweeh prayer is also available upon request. In-room amenities include dates, prayer mat and the Holy Qur’an upon request. Access to Six P Gym, which offers a dedicated female-only workout area, is also included.

The venue: There is an air-conditioned tent for iftar and suhoor, with an oriental atmosphere as well as a wide choice of Arabic delicacies from the buffet along with Ramadan specialties and traditional Arabic juices. Shisha is also available throughout the night, with oud musicians performing.

Expect a wide buffet of authentic oriental delicacies – everything from salads and hot and cold oriental appetisers, to main Arabic dishes.

Guests can enjoy a set menu featuring lupine, brown beans, almonds and water.
