The wait is finally over – Urban retrEAT will finally open its doors this week.

The one-of-a-kind hub has been a year in the making and will bring an ever-changing mix of street food stalls to Yas Mall this Eid.

For the first time ever, Abu Dhabi foodies can sample delights from all corners of the world in a friendly and casual setting.

Fancy Filipino-Creole fusion seafood? Off the Hook is there. How about melt in your mouth Southern American barbecue? Mr. Brisket’s the answer.

Gluten free? No worries, Tawa Bakery have the most delicious breads and buns – and they’re available to buy and take home, too.

In fact, there are ten shipping container-style stalls with room for up to five more carts.

The vendors will rotate, bringing a new wave of local talent to Urban retrEAT every three months.

The venue will also host local talents such as musicians and artists, offering them a platform to showcase their work and perform for customers within Urban retrEAT.

Every weekend a different musician will take the stage, keeping guests entertained as well as fed.

Owner and creator Dana Alsharif, who has two stalls at the site, told Time Out Abu Dhabi: “We’re developing a space that can act as a hub for the local community and a platform for home-grown food vendors.

“The constant rotating of vendors offers an ever-changing experience for diners meaning all tastes and palates will be catered for.

“We are creating a space that’s fun, social and unpretentious and bring something totally different to the Abu Dhabi food scene.”

Located on the first floor of Yas Mall, opposite Ferarri world, Urban retrEAT will be open for business this Eid, so what are you waiting for?

Prices vary. Sun-Thu 10am-10pm; Fri-Star 10am-midnight. Yas Mall, Yas Island,
