The region’s top foodies gathered at Le Meridien Abu Dhabi last night to celebrate the Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards.

The UAE’s most discerning diners joined representatives from Abu Dhabi’s hottest eateries to find out who would be crowned the best in show.

With categories ranging from the coveted Best Restaurant to Best Newcomer, Best Bar & Pub Food and Best Café, there was plenty of room for some healthy competition among the emirate’s most popular places to eat.

After much deliberation among the judging panel, the top award of the evening for Restaurant of the Year went to Sardinia at the Abu Dhabi Country Club. A comparatively new kid in town, but somewhere that the judges felt shone out from the competition.

The Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards will take place on Wednesday 4th November 2009 at the Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi. Time Out reviews restaurants independently and pays for all its own meals.

I think food land is one of the best Indian restaurants. I advise you to go and taste achar gosht with butter nan. It is a friendly restaurant and it has separated rooms for families.
