The waiters are so bad, they behave as if they are serving for charity. They do not even show concerns for families, I do not know sincerely whether any of the management guys go through these comments. The food is good, but the feeling of being at the mercy of the waiters is awful.

Terrible Service! After nearly an hour after taking the delivery order the guy calls up and says, "we ran out of dough for the Vadas" and he had no apologies for that - his flat arrogant tone!!! So, I had to cancell the entire order of nearly AED100 and look towrads Sangeetha.

But the guy was a sport, though! He quitely accepted the cancellation oder!

guys , if u wanna taste indian food especially chettinad type . please do visit cettinad restairant. i have no words to describe the aweful experiance

I have had 2 bad experiences with The Chettinad Restaurant in Abu Dhabi.
The first was in 2006 when I took my family there for dinner. The lamb dish had a big fat chicken piece!! The staff very casually apologised for the mix-up.

Two weeks ago ordered 3 portions of chicken biriyani over the phone and told them That I would pick up the food in about 10 minutes. After I arrived at the restaurant, I was made to wait another 20 minutes before I received the food.

When I reached home I realized that they had run out of chicken biriyani and to make-up for it they had mixed pieces of tandoori chicken in biriyani rice. The difference in the colour of chicken pieces was very evident.

Also, I found a mutton bone in the biriyani. I called up and complained to the owner who informed me that mutton bones are added to chicken biriyani in chettinad cuisine for added favour!! :-)))

As a person who has spent most of my life in Tamil Nadu, this was definitely surprising. Besides, when I was at the restaurant, I heard them saying that they has run out of biriyani.

I love chettinad food and hope these jokers get their act together soon.

South Indian Cuisine at its best at cettinad, very competitive prices
and the authenticity of the classic cettinad taste is maintained well.

I missed chettinad food for long time when i left India. I admired when I visit for the first time inside the cettinad restaurant. I tasted the authentice food. It was superb. I do recommend families and friends to visit and enjoy the chettinad delicasy food and service. we can note that price is competitive.
