Winner of our Best Restaurant award for two years in a row, all eyes will be on Sardinia to see if they can complete an astounding hattrick. Could this be their year again? Only time will tell.
After more than 20 years in the region we have struggled recently to find a good restaurant serving good food with good service.
Our previous favourites have all fallen by the wayside, so we were particularly delighted when we joined friends at the Sardinia for their wedding anniversary.
The menu gives you choices that you wont find elsewhere, and for the first time we found ourselves discussing the subtlety of different textures and tastes. Unusual for us.
It's expensive, the decor is a little different and yes, there were more staff than guests, but the excellent food and service mean we will definitely be returning for those "special' occasions.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sardinia, and it truly lived up to my expectations and more. What an exquisite dining experience, very fitting for a most special occassion.
My only surprise what that there weren't more people there! Only our table and another, really the place was empty. A shame really, to have such a fantastic restaraunt, and not many people taking advantage of such a fabulous dining venue.
Absolutely amazing dining experience. Although it's a little on the pricey side, it's worth every penny and I cannot recommend highly enough. We will certainly be visiting again!
This really is a top class restaurant and easily as good as anything in London. First rate food, wine and service. 10/10.
