Beijing is busy, inexpensive and authentic. The food is also very good and the huge servings will leave you begging for mercy. The tofu in hunan chilli sauce is particularly fine, if lip-stingingly spicy, and quality is uniformly high.

Most restaurants go for a menu that panders to local clientele, but the “Beijing Restaurant” is one of a select few eating houses that dares to lay on an authentic menu.
After living in China and tasting what Chinese food is really all about, anything other than the real McÇoy is not worth eating?
Down stairs is basic and great for a quick bite, but if it is ambience you want and a little more comfort then venture upstairs.
Portions are large, quality is good, price is right. What more can you say? Xie xie....
Service level and timing; portion sizes; food presentation and quality all authentic-most definitely. BTW, in authentic Chinese restaurants, rice normally comes after the mains have been presented. Blander dishes from DongBei selection and medicore spicy dishes from HuNan and SiChuan selections. All decent food.
i think a testament to how good this place is is this: 5 of mains, one noodle dish and 2 orders of rice = 8 platters of food wiped clean by 5 people. good chinese food but the service should be improved. Our orders came in long intervals and the rice and noodle came after the main course, we had to wait and stop ourselves from eating all the mains with out the rice.
also they don't accept credits cards

The food is ok, lacks taste. It is kind of authentic in the sense it resembles Chinese food, rather than Filipeno food. The service is slow, I mean slow and the dishes don't come in any sensible order. (Main course which requires rice, no rice until 10 minutes and you are so hungry that ate the main dish). Doesn't take credit cards, so make sure you take cash.
