What can we say? Note-perfect from start to finish. The service is superb, with staff so polite and attentive you may begin to suspect they’re overcompensating for something; but they’re absolutely not, and as soon as the food arrives, any and all concerns are forgotten. Both fish and meat dishes are spot-on, perfectly cooked and presented, and brimming with juicy flavour. The big draw is, of course, the selection of steaks and in particular the dreamily succulent wagyu tenderloin – a steak you’ll be telling your friends about for months to come. Team this with a side of crispy triple cooked chips, follow it up with a mountainous sticky toffee pudding and you’ll sign the bill convinced you’ve discovered a tiny piece of paradise.

We ate at the restaurant last night, my husband, father and myself. The food was very good. I had the duck breast appetizer and the 300g Omaha Filet. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the pepper sauce was delicious with the steak. My husband had the porterhouse and lobster appetizer. He thought his meal was also excellent and my father had the sea bass and oyster appetizer. He also loved his meals. The service was outstanding. Everyone was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant, and am looking forward to going back soon.

Very talky Maitre d'H always saying "I personnaly recommend, I'like that and not that...". Very bad lighting with the cold kitchen lights coming to the dining area. Poshy service but stupid on food. Waggu superb. Side dish like green beans very basic airport style. French Fries so greasy you can run the QEII round the world with the oil !!! Impossible to eat. I've comment to them that the fries were not suitable event to Wembley afternoon. Not a good tempting sweet outside horrible British grandma cakes. After reading the previous couple negative reviews I felt as if I should comment on my experiences. I have been to Marcos steakhouse 4 or 5 times, expensive yes but everything is always top notch. The service is attentive and the food is always perfect. The steaks and side dishes are simple but that’s what I want! Perfectly cooked vegetables, crispy chips and buttery mash. Perfect! I enjoy that they don’t have truffle and foie gras all over the menu. My friends and I agree that this is hands down the best place to eat in the city. Its nice to have everyone from the hostess to the chef remember your name and preferences every time you come.

Great for romance or business...another quality venue for AUH!

Food is fantastic, best steak and mash in the region! Exceptional wine list, not too mention the best, maybe only sommelier in AUH. Service was exceptional-discreet, attentive and always just the right touch. From soup to nuts great cuisine, service and ambiance! Expensive? yes, but worth it!

Although the restaurant has a nice environment, it´s really overpriced for what they offer. Service was poor, they turned the wine in the table for 3 times, the coffee on our bill and suggested side dishes that could be made at home and would taste the same. Wouldn´t go back, there are other options in the city that are best value for money.

Worst service EVER - automatically start pouring Voss water without asking( the most expensive available) and keep pouring bottle after bottle at $50aed a pop.that can easily get you for $400 on water before you have chewed a morsel.. menu is tiny! 4 meat available and all come out different sizes=same wieght we are paying for?.. I dont think so.wait staff serving WAGYU but cannot tell you the grade of marble..its a steakhouse! Paying $400 for a steak you have certain expecations.none were met, then the bill comes=6 diners charged for 7 mains, charged for mash we never even saw and charged for all the side dishes NO ONE ORDERED an easy$1700 per person oops! After sending the bill back 5 times we get down to what was actually drunk and eaten@$800 a head... Value? NIL service skill?RUBBISH... Ever go back? NEVER..went to Bordeaux at Shangri -La the next night and had a fantastic meal and fantastic service..

The service was excellent - attentive but not over the top. The food was incredible: mouthwatering steaks; the best gratins dauphinois ever and perfectly cooked vegetables!
Expensive, but worth every penny.
