Eclectic West Hollywood hotspot Berri’s has opened the doors to its first international restaurant, and it’s right here in Abu Dhabi.

Described as the best kept secret that everyone knows about, Berri’s offers a mix of Mediterranean food and European style that is a hit with LA stars such as Madonna, Mariah Carey, and the Hadid sisters. They’re known for their 20-inch pizzas, especially their special lobster pizza – which we cannot wait to try – and house music playlists.

Berri’s was established in 1996 by a husband and wife team, interior architect and designer Raphael Berry and Hortensia Magana. While the Tinsel Town outlet is also renowned for serving food and takeaway until 4am, the Abu Dhabi outlet will close at the more reasonable time of midnight. Yet it is set to bring a little piece of LA cool to the capital.

Berri’s opened officially earlier this month in Al Muneera, the beachfront dining and shopping experience at Al Raha Beach. It is the latest addition to a growing smorgasbord of top-quality food and beverage offerings in the emirate, cementing Abu Dhabi as an important global destination for travelers.

Berri’s will soon be opening restaurants in Dubai and Paris, but remember – you saw it in AD first!
Open Sun-Thu 12pm–11pm, Fri-Sat 12pm–12am. Al Muneera (02 643 9555).
