25 things to do this week
Try Thai, eat Italian, shovel seafood and more Abu Dhabi fun Discuss this article
Eat Italian: At Park Rotana’s Ginger, Wednesday nights are when the pasta is al dente and the pizza is piping hot. It’s Dhs140 per person, which is fair for five-star hotel dining. And if the weather’s nice, you can take your supper outside.
Ginger, Park Rotana (02 657 3333).
Rehydrate: Rehydrating your skin is not the same as moisturising it. So rub on all the expensive stuff and it’ll still feel dry. If you want to get all fresh-faced to combat the summer heat take advantage of Espa’s spring promotion. Treat yourself to an Intensive Facial at the Yas Viceroy spa and get a complimentary full body salt and oil scrub or a back, neck and shoulder massage. The choice is yours.
Dhs380 valid until May 31. Espa, Yas Viceroy (02 656 0862).
Smoke shisha: Fancy some shisha? Our current favourite shisha joint is Tarbouche at Souq Central Market. They’ve got excellent mezze, a roof terrace and some fine shisha flavours.
Tarbouche al Basha, Souk Central Market (02 628 2220).
Have a night out with the girls: If you like nothing more than a weekly catch up with the girls then head to Yacht Club tonight for their fabulous ladies night. There is free flowing bubbly for the girls from 7pm-1am. The Yacht Club now has a great new chef so why not try some of their tasty sushi while you’re there.
The Yacht Club, InterContinental Abu Dhabi, Al Bateen (02 666 6888)
