Ramadan brings 30 days of reflection and self-discipline, as well as evenings of simple iftar meals and vast suhoor spreads. Abu Dhabi daytimes may be slow, but the evenings are alive with the spirit of this special time.

Great iftar deal at Flavours restaurant

Plastic art

Creative festivities

Take the family down to The Galleria on Al Maryah Island during the final ten days of Ramadan and throughout Eid al-Fitr to enjoy a whole host of activities. Renowned local calligrapher and graffiti artist Dia’a Allam will host an art exhibition, there’ll be a falcon stand, arts and crafts, henna artists and a sand bottle designer to showcase traditional craftsmanship.

Musical Maestros at World Trade Centre

Head to The Mall at the World Trade Centre on Saturday June 4 for a day of free performances by an eclectic mix of amateur artists from countries across the globe, as they come together to celebrate World Music Day. Last year, 1,000 music fans flocked to the event, so make sure you pitch up early for front row seats and inspire any wannabe musicians in your family.
