Former Spice Girl Mel C was the first big-name act to grace Beats on the Beach at Abu Dhabi’s Corniche. However, she was considerably less sporty than her former Spice Girl persona, foregoing Kappa tracksuits for flowing, white attire. The British singer seemed surprised to have drawn such a crowd, quipping: ‘Wow, there’s loads of you,’ before breaking into song. Mel played SkyBar later, and even had time for brunch on Friday.
