What does style mean to you?
I think people often confuse ‘stylish’ and ‘fashionable’. Style is a personal thing and cannot be copied; fashion is following a trend.
How would you describe Abu Dhabi style?
Understated and elegant. Whilst there will occasionally be gold plated Ferraris, life in the city is always graceful.
What are your favourite stylish hangouts in the capital?
I love the terrace at Hakkasan, 55 & 5th at the St Regis, the Yacht Club on Wednesday nights and Eight and Cipriani.
What are your wardrobe essentials?
A crisp white shirt and a well-cut suit are absolutely key.
Where do you get your hair cut? ManAge.
Where do you go when you want to relax?
I like walking my dog, Charlie, in the park along the Corniche.
Who is your style icon?
Cary Grant, Frank Sinatra and Tom Ford.
Favourite stylish holiday destination?
Qasr Al Sarab. If I’m going further afield, I love motorcycling in Italy.
