Celebrate the Festival of Lights at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
Fantastic circus-style event rolling into Yas Island hot spot for nine-day extravaganza Discuss this article

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will be shining brighter than ever for a spectacular nine-day celebration of the world famous Festival of Lights.
The Yas Island theme park will be taking visitors on the ride of a lifetime, with dazzling dance shows, enchanting stories and arts and crafts to enjoy, all capturing the vibrant colour of the traditional festival of Diwali (Festival of Lights) from October 20 to October 28.
A renowned Indian circus act will tell the tale of Lali The Elephant, with a host of interactive areas and performances being held, plus actors, contortionists and traditional dancers performing in the park, making for a unique carnival of culture.
Thrill-seekers will still have time to get the adrenaline pumping on the theme park’s wealth of brilliant rides and attractions – including the fastest rollercoaster in the world – in between the enlightening activities.
Jesse Vargas, General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, said: “We love operating in such a multi-cultural and diverse environment, and this gives us even more enjoyment when it comes to celebrating amazing international festivals.
“This year, to celebrate the occasion of Diwali, we are immersing guests into a new world. Festival of Lights is one of those festivals that has the power to amaze and engage guests from all over the world, and its success has seen it become a recurrent celebration at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and something we all look forward to.”
There will also be plenty to keep little ones entertained, including Diya lamp painting and lantern making, plus creative shows at the La Piazza Stage, including the Kathak Dance, Kathakali Dance, Kuchipudi and the Mallakhamb Pole Act.
Ferrari World will be open throughout the Festival of Lights, with general tickets priced at Dhs275.
