Falconry hunting trip
An interesting re-enactment of the event surrounding the favourite sport of the ruling family – falconry.

Collage Exhibition

This is an open-call exhibition by artists from across the UAE, showcasing works that highlight the use of mixed media, in a community display.

Literary Evenings at Muwaiji
Emirati literature will be at the forefront, as storytellers, playwrights and poets present a variety of literary works, such as novels, short stories and prose from Emirati and international writers.
Free. Sat Mar 18 and Sat Apr 1, 6.30pm onwards. Qasr al Muwaiji.

My Heritage, My Responsibility

This outdoor programme features talks, films, workshops and activities, with a special focus on Emirati culture.

Bartabas: An Equestrian Show

This theatrical horse-riding performance will feature 30 horses from the prestigious National Equestrian Academy of Versailles. Choreographed by renowned equestrian specialist and director Bartabas, the performance fuses dance, music, poetry and classical dressage.
Dhs400 to Dhs50. Mar 23-25, Mar 27-28, 8pm onwards. Al Jahili Fort.

Weekends at the Oasis
The oasis will come alive with community markets, workshops, local artisans selling crafts, henna artists and vendors selling fresh farm produce. There will also be live cooking demonstrations and plenty of food stalls.
Apr 7-8, 4pm onwards. Al Ain Oasis.

Memory of the Emirati Song
Young Emirati singers and performers have adapted original Arabic poetry to classic tunes from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. This unique concert is a tribute to the country’s rich history of song and poetry.
Free. Thu Apr 13, 8pm onwards. Al Jahili Fort.

World Heritage Day
Mark the occasion of World Heritage Day with family workshops, seminars and talks to celebrate Emirati heritage.
Free. Apr 20-21, 5pm. Al Ain Palace Museum.

Comic Art Exhibition
If you love illustrations, animations and pop art, this is your chance to have your work displayed at a community exhibition.
